Leslie Ehm is often described as a ‘force of nature’. An incredibly passionate and relentless pursuer of creativity in all forms, she’s been a singer, script editor, TV host and agency Creative Director.
In her CD role, Leslie began recognizing the pain and suffering of agency people and their client counterparts and decided to do something about it. In 2008 she launched her first training company dedicated exclusively to their challenges.
Agencies like Leo Burnett, JWT, and Taxi quickly chose Leslie’s brand of deep insight and irreverent training methods. Before long, the company grew and evolved into what is now known as Combustion and it’s been a crazy ride ever since, with global clients like Google, FCB, Droga5, Grey, BBDO, IKEA, Mattel, Pepsico, McDonald’s and more getting on board.
But that’s just the story on paper. What you can’t know unless you experience Leslie up close is that she is a supreme evangelist of creativity and collaboration who will do just about anything (and has) to unleash her participants’ potential. Once they’ve experienced her unique brand of crazy gospel – they spread the word. Because Leslie is the kind of infection there is no vaccine for. And when she commits to igniting change – she doesn’t stop until it’s done.
When she’s not in an airport, Leslie’s also on the faculty of both the ANA School of Marketing and the Institute for Communications Agencies (ICA). She’s certified by the Creative Problem Solving Institute, a Guild Member of the Creative Education Foundation, columnist for the Creativity Post and a sought-after keynote speaker.
